Andrew Su and I will be presenting "The Gene Wiki: Cultivating and mining community intelligence in biology" next week live and on the Internet!

The first half (presented by Andrew) will give an overview of what the Gene Wiki is, why it was built, and how it is doing. The second part (by me) will describe the results of efforts to extract structured data from the text and the links of the gene wiki. (Warning, my part is very much a work in progress...)
